Choroni is a coastal locality in the far north of the municipality of Girardot, Aragua state, Venezuela. Located on the outskirts of the coastal mountain range, Choroni makes up the essence of the Henri Pittier National Park.
This locality has the fortune of having the best of nature: beaches, mountains, forests, and jungles. It is the perfect place to go on an adventure, to explore new corners, to be in the present moment, and become one with nature.
Choroni’s population is at under 5,000 persons. Major industries consist of fishing, growing cacao, and tourism. Tourism has taken on major importance over the last decade.
